Job title - Health Care Assistant

Hartley Home Care is a Home care provider based in Camelford, offering a professional, responsive and proactive care service to our customers. Hartley Home Care provide bespoke care packages tailored to the needs of adults and children with care and support needs in Cornwall and Devon. 

We are now recruiting for care workers to join us across the south west – including Bude, Hartland, Warbstow, Launceston, Camelford, Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Rock, Wadebridge, Padstow, Harlyn Bay, Bodmin, St Tudy, St Teath, Lostwithiel, St Columb Major, Roche and Foxhole.

The Candidate:

We welcome applicants with or without experience as we offer full training including, Care Certificate (if not already obtained). If you have experience within the hospitality, retail or customer services or wish to return to work after a career break your expertise in communication and empathy with people gives you the experience we are looking for.

 

Requirements:

  • Be reliable honest and trustworthy   
  • A willingness to learn new skills and deliver excellent support
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • A flexible approach to work and be a good team player
  • Current driving licence and the use of a car, preferred but not essential in all locations
  • Use of a mobile phone 

 

We offer:

  • £12.00 per hour (£12.15 with NVQ level 2 or higher)
  • Various shifts are available but you are required to work alternate weekends
